About Arkko

ARKKO is an architectural firm based in Germany and Pakistan which specializes in the field of architecture and design. The firm is led by Architect Ali Farhan. The name ARKKO essentially, stands for "Architektur Konzept," which is German for the assemblage of an architectural idea. ARKKO is unique as a company in its experience and competencies in the field of architecture, urban design and planning, landscape and interior design. For us, design process is key and we believe in Nature and its emergent processes, significantly. Therefore, we strive to work towards ecological and sustainable design solutions in our practice. The process is realized through combining and developing designs with theoretical, analogue and computational techniques. These are synthesized in various scenarios through analysis and experimentation. Evident in our series of international projects, we are trying to define a new discourse of spatial heterogeneity of 'sustainable tectonics,' in architecture. We have a conducive and integrated design environment, an array of members from architects to designers, thinkers, consultants, and project partners around the globe in several disciplines of architecture and design. Our vision and dedication to the field coupled with international exposure is what places ARKKO in a league of its own.
