About Adnan Khalid

Ar.Adnan Khalid studied at Punjab University (College Of Art and design) Lahore. His final thesis was on topic WORLD WITH A NEW PERSPECTIVE and the building in result was Sports complex for handicapped. This was a contribution towards the betterment of sports facilities for the handicapped. the form of the buildings were inspired by the reflexes of handicapped athletes during the sports, this was done to boost and regenerate the will and determination of the handicapped, that they built everyday to fight against the condition of the society. He is doing his master's thesis from Punjab University. His thesis topic is Integration of rain water harvesting and architecture. It will be an effort towards the betterment and enhancement of water table of Lahore. Sports complex (Sheikhupura) and Sports complex (Nankana Sahib) are his major projects which are in the phase of construction these days. The client of these projects in Govt. of Punjab, The design is carefully done, keeping in view the sports requirements of that area and the international requirements followed worldwide. Head office of Asian Consulting Engineers is also an important project under construction these days, the design and interior is also done by him. The design follows the contemporary approach and fulfills the office standards. National Textile University Faisalabad is initiating its new campus in Faisalabad, the buildings comprised of Fashion Design Department and Business Management Sciences. The allied buildings include Academic Block, Admin, Auditorium, and Research Center. The approach behind the design is to inter mingle the modern and Islamic architecture. Greater Iqbal Park landscape competition is also in his design list, he designed proposal for the landscape and stood second in this competition.
