Mohammad Uzair Matin has been involved with the architecture practice for 9 years. Since earning his B.Arch from Turkey in 2008, he has been responsible for conceptual development and detailed design on a gamut of high-rise commercial and residential projects. In 2013 he got the opportunity to work on Emporium Mall and Hotel, a 2.7 million sq. feet mixed use retail led scheme of unprecedented scale in Pakistan. During the initial stages, he participated in a 6 weeks work exchange program to travel to AHR UK offices and become a part of the Emporium Mall design team to assist on planning approval drawings along with studying and researching UK building and fire regulations. Upon his return he led the design and execution team and was responsible for various phases of the project timeline from schematic design to preparation of construction documentation and finally to execution. He successfully delivered the project on time and schedule in 2016, which currently stands as a landmark in Lahore’s skyline. He currently manages and heads the design team on a small scale mall in Karachi along with various office buildings for corporate organizations.
