My name is Saad Ahmed Shah and currently working in a leading international bank to develop an Automated SME (Corporate and Commercial) Credit Lending Program Risk-Balance Scorecard Model (programme based), Psychometric Tools and Behavioural Science to develop a Application Scorecard, Behaviourial Scorecard, Collection Scorecard and Fraud Scorecard Model for SME and Retail Markets, including Early Warning Module. In addition to this developing a proper Risk, Market, MIS Analytics and Decision Sciences Unit and doing adaptive implementation in respective countries. In order to create a homogeneous and dynamic scorecard, both qualitative and quantitative variables (judgemental and statistical) will be taken into account and screened through variable transformation, PD calibration and validation through historical analysis. Before that I was working as Regional Head - Central, Standard Chartered Bank and based in Lahore, Pakistan. The purpose of Employee Banking, which is part of Transactional Banking and Cash Management, is to dock the outflows of corporate entities and multinational companies with SCB so that the entire salary payroll of the company is routed through the distribution footprint of the bank. Prior to this I have had a substantial exposure to corporate clients and as a corporate banker I have handled various local corporates and MNCs of huge exposures, both funded and non-funded. As Head of Strategy and Planning, I feel privileged working with one of best consultancy firm in the world i.e. McKinsey on deputation basis, in parallel with banking. In this capacity I visited Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia restructuring the business process in Alliance Bank (Malaysia), Bank Danamon (Indonesia) and NIB Bank (Pakistan) The primary objective was to re-engineer the entire business processes in the areas of sales, risk & credit policy, remedial management, performance management.
