In the project, the building is unique in the sense that it houses architectural office as well as family home. However, the uniqueness of the building essentially lies in the total segregation in terms of visual access and circulation pattern of office staff and family members.

The building has been designed with a blend of contemporary style and local materials. Constructed at three levels, with office in the lower level and living in upper two levels, the house features front and back garden at ground and lower level respectively. Having two outdoor spaces at different levels gives a feeling of living on two different levels, especially in areas like living and drawing room, also providing an outdoor view of the back garden from the office

With careful rotation of angle in the 2D plan, triangular cut out spaces add a dynamic character in interior spaces. Stair hall is one of the major interior highlights, which is enclosed in a double height octagon, having ventilators above to regulate fresh air into the house. Interior spaces provide visual permeability to outside greenery and open up space perception of communal spaces. Careful attention of craftsmanship has been given to the details, like kitchen, doors and grills. Other decorative elements include wooden pergolas with glass on top at front façade windows and porch. Use of original wood outside has been left to age over time.
