Overview

This project was inspired by Middle Eastern architecture style while contemporizing it. The elements, although superficially designed to be modern, are rooted from ideas of grandeur & ‘portals of transition’ of Islamic architecture.
As one moves from the outside world into the sanctuary, a transitory experience is perceived. The design of the ‘in-between’ space helps human emotions to be swiftly transformed; allowing them to decompress & unwind by bringing in a sense of calmness.
