Overview

Bagh, located in the fertile plains of Summundri, is an agricultural resort. The design proposal aims to create a union of traditional and contemporary architecture languages by keeping the design grounded into the context and immediate environment. The project is intended to cultivate its own micro-climate of flora and fauna with its lush gardens and central lake serving as a rain water reservoir.
The planning gathers a warm and hospitable environment of a resort with the several agricultural programs which come together to house facilities like Vault residences, Restaurants and Dining, Fitness club, Horse riding court, public gathering zones to have a balanced interplay of landscape and built environment and have an architectural language that is contextual to the land and its people.

The complex is designed to sustain its water usage through construction of a lake which not only collects the water coming from the complex itself for the reutilization for numerous horticultural and agricultural purposes of the resort but also gives many scenic and relaxing views to the people staying in the vault residences.
Additionally amenities such as the gym and swimming pool seamlessly integrate into the built fabric to make the transition from the private realm to the public areas as smooth as possible.
The private pool is one our most favorite spaces as the sky reflects into that water within an intimate compound of brick jaalis shielding against the rest of the world.
