The house is built on a lovely piece of land at the junction of the road and it captures a beautiful view of the park at the front. The shape of the land is not a perfect rectangle; it becomes wider toward its rear side. These three factors along with the owner’s spatial needs, living style and his particular taste influenced by European houses, guide the basic design concept of this house. It is a two and a half storey house with five bedrooms and formal & informal sitting spaces arranged on both floors around a side lawn which open towards the front followed by a verandah.
