The residence was conceptualized as a juxtaposition of solids and voids that merged the boundaries
between the outside and the inside. This realized project provided outside views on multiple levels while
maintaining the privacy of the residents.
The house has an introvert planning with all the floors encompassing the courtyard leaving one edge
open connecting it to the lawn.
A double heighted lobby fed off of the daylight as well as created harmony between the floors which
resulted in a unified interior space. The house features travertine wrapped outside and inside with solid
wood louvers and flooring, creating a warm comfortable living space.
