CN House

Overview

CN is an exemplary house in the signature style of ARA. Designed in a contemporary language, the house
offers an open plan layout with a spacious interior and a modern façade.

The main double height lobby space features a curved staircase and skylight warming the interior with
natural light. Curvilinear walls are introduced in a rectilinear plan to highlight featured elements and
spaces.

The façade is developed with composition of cuboid masses. Each cuboid entity was developed
individually by subtraction method to form windows and terraces, and composed together in a unified
form. The façade is recessed on the plinth level, giving the house a levitating feel. Hammered black and
gold marble is used on the facade and interior feature wall.
