Overview

Suhail & Fawad Architects has had the opportunity to learn from every commision and look at design more as an art form, redefining and celebrating nature without compromising the requirements. The studio believes in resolving the plan before anything else. The facade is only a skin that comes later and has to have a meaning, a reason and that is only possible after each internal space is well thought of and opens into a green court, a garden, a balcony with unobstructed views.
After working on multiple mixed - use buildings, this upcoming project is a retail & residential complex which was extremely tricky to design, firstly due to shape of the site, it’s multiple requirements and then it’s setting.
Suhail & Fawad Architects as Project Architects in collaboration with Primarc Studio as Managing Architects explored the many facets of design to harmonise and study these requirements in detail to come up with an approach that is both contextual and independent from its surrounding neighbourhood.
This attempt made the team understand the various complexities of the site before looking at multiple solutions to achieve the final design. The bylaws were strict and the shape didn’t make it any easier either.
The end result was a good one and we look forward to its construction exactly how we have visualized it.
