Scope: Interior/façade design and construction.
Conceived as a gift shop and a florist corner, the interior design had to act as a canvas against the products on display and at the same time compliment the class and poise of the merchandise genre. What’s simple doesn’t always mean it was produced over night, the idea of keeping the interior and exterior all white with details in gold was a risk the architects took where they hoped the end result would be appreciated for its simplicity yet its classical details shall be recognized. POP cornices, wooden corbels, golden drawer handles, dusty gold pointing of reception concentric tiles and curvilinear lines of shelves and reception counter together put forth the fine details that when showered with white surroundings were all the more accentuated. Moreover, the wooden chevron tiles were the sturdy ground that held together all the subtle shades inside and the silk knot painted ceiling kept the ambiance light and open. The façade in its white glory gives the view of a classical florist street corner, with a cycle and phone booth as its pride and eventually attracting the users as the only white façade among the sea of various marketing hues
