Scope: Interior/façade design and construction supervision.
Oriental cuisine with a pinch of industrial design, spoon full of raw textures and served over a base of
colors and murals. An existing pharmacy was turned into an already prominent brand of Ginyaki, with a
glass extension for an outside-inside design approach and a terrace seating aswell with transformable
ceiling coverage. The baseline for design was the famous mural of the restaurant which serves as a
signature feature element around which all other design elements float. Keeping in mind that the skin of
the space and its organs; furniture, compliment the mural and do not overshadow it. Hence floor, walls
and ceiling are monochrome, the gold paper from the mural have been highlighted through light fixtures
and the cherry red and royal blue from the art piece have been taken as inspiration for the custom made
furniture pieces. The glass walls are one of the highly prized entities of the restaurant which draw most
attention through its transparency from the passerby and tantalize their taste buds.
