Mr. Haroon Israr Residence

Residence Bahria town, the corner plot had the challenging geometry containing angular axis of 40 degrees between two sides existed along the road axis. The plot was providing the two sides of seventy-five feet long boundaries perpendicular to each other. Design challenges included the integration of open spaces and privet zones for the family with the option of first floor to give on rental purpose at the same time connecting them both.

Consisting of the parking garage for three cars the wooden door entrance stair case foyer of residence characters an airy and double heighted space. It is being enlightened with the usage of natural light through providence of skylights designed on the top surface giving spacious welcome to the user. Lobby thus giving the access to first floor, drawing room and central lounge space on the front side of the plot for maximum natural light intake. The residence configures the six bedrooms adjustment on the ground & first floor and with basement hall for the multipurpose usage.

Wooden and steel staircase from the entrance lobby giving a beautiful character with angular volumetric composition of foyer leading the user to first and basement floor. Entrance black marble floor enhances the beauty of the house reflecting the impressions of skylight providing the natural light designed above.

The exterior surface of the building composed of two protruded volumes are being deigned in such a way to maintain the visual with border view on the front surface. Front mass with inverted lines plays important role of giving identity to the house with giving a unique character outside the staircase lobby. Connectivity of the louvers and solid surfaces balances the composition creating a play of solid and bold relationship.
