Overview

As we learn and archive some of eminent Ar. Suhail A. Abbasi’s earlier works, this one is surely amongst our favourites.
Mrs. Shaheena Junaid Residence on Park Road in F-8/1 Islamabad designed and completed in the year 1983-84 was way ahead of its time.
The single family unit residence stood out on many levels due its stark simplicity. The proportions and scale was humble at all levels and drew natural light throw its clearstory stepped windows and elements that were purposely designed and executed beautifully.
Its wonderful planning and form made it unique even then and is one of the most celebrated project of him as a young architect of the early 80’s.
