This project is a very special one for me personally. The land was acquired by my grandfather late Masih Ullah Khan back in the late 80s.
Since that time he developed this site as a mosque for the entire community (almost 40 private residences)
I personally reside right opposite this site/mosque and it is used not only for the regular prayers 5 times a day but also serves as an "eid-gah' along with the weekly Friday prayers.
Noor masjid was named after my grand fathers father: Noor Muhammad Khan. It gives me great pride to share that I was also named after him.
The total area of the mosque is about 4 kanals however the constructed area is not more that 1.5 kanals.
Noor Masjid has a separate entrance and exit for females. The mosque can taker upto 500 people when operating at its full capacity, and also has residences for the Imam sb and his family along with a public library for the whole community to take advantage from.
