The Annexe was designed and built at the back of a large site to create an independent guesthouse that includes 3 bedrooms, a large living room and a kitchen.
The annexe is located among large green spaces, thus expansive windows have been used to bring in the natural landscape as well as ample amounts of sunlight. This opens up the space, particularly the double heighted living room that is topped with a gorgeous pitched roof while a large stone fireplace anchors the whole room. The glass corridor acts as a transitional space not only between the two units of the building but also between the indoors and outdoors through its transparency and form. Wide patios and a diverse material palette create a space that is open yet comfortable and inviting and which takes full advantage of the views surrounding it.
