Overview

The design elements of the modern classical multifamily residence are inspired by traditional Portuguese and Colonial architecture. While site planning one of the primary considerations was to safeguard the old tree at the site. Hence the residence wraps itself around it, harmonizing with the site. Designed with passive considerations, the 25000 sft of multifamily residence is home to three families.
Two independent three-bedroom apartments are created on the left and right-wing of the first floor for young families. Each with independent access from a central double-height lobby. The main floor at the ground level is home to parents and grandparents. The design creates common spaces that are experienced by the extended family, where they can come together. Spaces create connectivity while maintaining the privacy of each unit.
