The octagonal sports facilities of the Lahore University of Management Studies include indoor basketball, badminton and squash courts as well as separate gymnasiums for men and women.
This multi-functional sports building forms the northernmost point of the university campus. It takes inspiration from Lahore’s old walled city in its form and construction, with an octagonal main hall surrounded by sixteen alternately double and single height wings.
The concrete frame structure is in-filled with exposed brickwork and steel trusses support the profiled metal roof deck.
