About FARAZ GHAYYOOR OBAID

Born to a culturally mixed family with a Pakistani father and a German mother, Faraz spent his childhood and pre-teen years in Lahore and moved to Vancouver, Canada at the ages of 11 and 14, where they spent 8 years.

Like his older brother, Faraz completed his Bachelors in Architecture from Beaconhouse University in 2013. He started his first architecture job working with his university advisor Raza Zahid, as a junior architect. Always one to take risks and explore, Faraz landed a job in Dubai with Singaporian firm DPA Architects in 2013. He spent 3 years with DPA Architects, where he gained tremendous experience in his field. In 2016, Faraz finally moved back to Lahore to join his father’s firm, bringing with him his unparalleled dedication and workhorse attitude.
