About Jahangir S.m. Khan Sherpao

Ar. Jahangir khan received his professional degrees in Architecture and later a professional Masters degree in City & Regional Planning at the Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago, in the Modernist Tradition of the World Masters Mies Van der Rohe and Hilbersiemer. The firm was started as an Architectural and City & Regional Planning Consultancy upon his return from the USA in 1989. He believes in simple, linear design that can be accentuated by using the right kind of furniture, art work, landscape elements and transparent walls that help open up the spaces. He has in recent years served as President Institute of Architects Pakistan for 3 years and also President of ARCASIA Architects Regional Council Asia for the last two years. He has been honoured by the American Institute of Architects with a Presidential Medal in 2017 along with an honorary Membership of AIA, The RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects also honoured him with a Presidental Medal in 2017.
