The chancery is an office building with two levels and a basement, designed to fulfill the functions of consular, diplomatic relations, trade commissioner, attache’s, administration and the ambassadorial secretariat. The building is equipped with a cafeteria, basement parking and library as basic amenities within the building. A concrete façade on the south side serves as the perfect curtain. The north façade opens up into to a courtyard that is divided by a landscaped spine. The chancery has been designed to constantly orient the user by providing a double height atrium lobby lined with a magnificent skylight the divides the building. The skylight also negates the use of artificial ambient lighting during daylight hours. The office building has been designed in compliance with NFPA 101 for emergency evacuation and fire suppression standards. All major escape stairways open up to assembly areas that lead out of the site.

This is a recent 30x30 Central courtyard house designed by the firm. The Project Architects are Fawad Suhail Abbasi & Naveed Salam.

After being able to design and supervise large and medium size residences in the last 15 years, this was a great challenge and enjoyed by the two of us. It gave us an opportunity to look at various options and study the layouts sectionally making sure that we can bring enough light and ventilation through the central core and making it a playful space for the clients.

First of all, we would like to thank you for discovering we exist! It is not every day we get to experience the industry come together on a single platform.

Banjaiga Private Limited came about after we noticed a huge disconnect between the various parts of the construction industry. The moving components were not in constant communication with each other, resulting in a waste of time and energies. Material information, specifications, trustworthy contractors, clients and architects; all the stakeholders were working together on the same goal but in individual pockets of isolation. A functioning ecosystem was missing. Something had to be built to solve this. So we decided to build this ecosystem from the ground up. Made by architects, for other architects.
